Black-chinned Sparrow are on the scenic loop in the Davis Mountains. Check
the picnic areas near the observatory. The Frankins Mountains have them
too, as do the Guadalupe Mountains. While GMNP does appear closed, they
might be had along 62 passing though the park.
I don't see any records on 54 between Van Horn and The Guadalupe Mountains
, but I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't there in the Sierra Diablo
Mountains, I think most people just buzz through headed to the Guads.
