Warbler Woods Thanks to Lindheimer Master Naturalists
If it weren't for the Lindheimer's Master Naturalists, Warbler Woods Bird
Sanctuary wouldn't be ready for the birders and nature lovers this year. They
have provided 80% of the volunteer hours for the last few years, and we are so
lucky to have them. They have provided 95% of the volunteer hours this year.
The front yard and Butterfly Gardens have been the special projects of Mary Ann
and Marie, along with Art, Shelby, Julie, and other wonderful people. It is
really becoming a jewel!
Today, a group of about nine LMNs sloshed in water features and cleaned
completely; cleaned the chairs you will sit on; trimmed the trails so that
they are safe for you; picked up trash; cleaned out algae in ponds; cleaned
out weeds and dirt deposits in ponds; cleaned hummingbird feeders, etc.
