Valley Nature Center in Weslaco is looking great. All the thinning and
clearing they did over the summer has really opened up the view, which
didn't include migrants yesterday morning but did include five Clay-colored
Thrush and other expected species. There are still plenty of vines and all
the great plants you expect to see, but the shrub layer is definitely less
dense.
