One small group is nesting under the 30th Street bridge at Whitis Ave, just a few hundred yards north of the very busy U. T. campus. Another colony nests in a long dark culvert which goes underneath the shopping center at Burnet Road and North Loop Blvd, exiting by the back parking lot of the Yarborough Branch of the Austin Public Library on Hancock Drive. From this evidence, I wouldn't be surprised if someone soon finds Cave Swallows under the downtown bridges along Waller Creek in the shadow of our tallest skyscrapers. Amazing example of adaptation.
