Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Howdy All! =20 Tomorrow, May 11, Tyler State Park is holding its annual Migratory Bird Day Event. This year we are doing things different, and better. Folks from Tyler Audubon Society, North East Texas Field Ornithologists, and Texas Ornithological Society are going to pitch in. We will start the day with a bird tour at 8:15am starting at the front office. We will then have a Birding 101 program at 10:30am to help new birders and those interested in trying birding. At noon, we'll move to the park store for Lunch with the birds. Bring a "brown bag" lunch and a drink and enjoy the easy to spot birds and bird discussions. At 1:00pm we spend the rest of the afternoon with bird talks and activities. If the birds are around, we may go back out for some more birding! =20 Already this morning, singing Kentucky Warbler and several Brown-headed Nuthatches and I'm still in the office! =20 Don't let the weather scare you away. We are shooting for a Tyler SP Big Day! =20 =20 Boyd A.
