[texbirds] Tundra Swans in Matagorda County - No

I was out birding the western roads of Matagorda County this morning with
DeLaine Briscoe and Harry Forbes. We check on the 2 immature Tundra Swans
reported on this listserv by Ron Weeks on November 28. The birds had been seen
at the end of CR 393 in Matagorda County. This morning they were no shows. I
also checked for them last Saturday and did not find them. I suspect they are
still in the area but in another flooded field, not visible from a public road.
I'll check back periodically and let folks know if the birds reappear near
public access.
