I got a short note from long-time Big Bend birder Mark Flippo today (7 May

"had a tufted flycatcher in the Chisos today on the Boot Canyon Trail
(between Pinnacles Pass and the old Emory Peak Trail head, bird was on east
side of trail. Watched it for about a half hour (~1100 -1130) "
Mark has photos of the bird as well. Given the current/recent records in
Arizona, it will be interesting to see if this is related at all to what's
going on there.
