I don't like typing emails while driving at night but I have work at 5:30
AM and won't have the time later.
I searched from Lake Meredith to north and west of Stinnett through 1:00 PM
without locating any of the 7 Trumpeter Swans that have been rather
reliable in the area since mid-late December 2022. Vicki Wilmarth of
Amarillo was also out searching high and low for them to no avail. The last
confirmed observation was late morning to midday on Friday, 13 January. I
covered a lot of ground and have a feeling they've moved on to greener
"pastures" with more available waste grain. We shall see.
