This past spring we put together a program about how fast baby birds grow for
our homeschool children's class "A Closer Look at Nature". We ran across so
much interesting information that was a bit too advanced for a younger
audience, so we thought it would be fun to do an adult version of the class.
That class about how baby birds grow will be the topic of our afternoon birding
class. This class is more bird biology than birding, but I know many of you
will find it interesting. The class is next Wednesday, June 22 at 1:30 p.m. at
the nature center. No need to RSVP, just show up. Hope to see you next
Wednesday.
Also on Wednesday is our regular bird walk which is from 8-10 a.m. during the
summer months.
