Greetings All:
The front that has moved into the region over the last day or so is the
first of the season, so far as I know, that has possessed winds favoring
birders instead of birds. A quick peek out my back window revealed a
Swainson's Thrush working over the leaf litter beneath my live oaks and a
Wilson's Warbler working my spring sunflower patch - the first two migrant
day I have had in my yard so far this spring.
Hopefully a few birds will linger into the weekend for the field trip
(Clapp Park - 44th and University parking lot - 8:00 AM - Saturday) this
weekend.
