Groove-billed Ani flock at the main entrance of Quintana Neotropical right now.
They are staying low and occasionally dropping to the grass to feed. We saw six
birds in flock, hanging together. Then all six flew out, one by one. Have
photos. Pretty great and unexpected- would have been happy to see just one here!
We spent an hour at Xeriscape earlier in the afternoon and saw/heard none there.
