Am Interested in thoughts on this woodpecker.
Size and bill length look like Hairy Woodpecker.
However, The dark spots on the sides of the edges of the tail are atypical for
a Hairy woodpecker (except apparently the Newfoundland Subspecies but believe
that has a differently barred back)
