Five people joined me for today's bird walk. We did Pintail Lake, and highlights included an adult Gray Hawk near the visitor center, continuing Redhead on Pintail 2 (good bird for this inland), and a Ringed Kingfisher over Pintail 2. Didn't see the Fulvous Whistling-Duck that was on Pintail 1 yesterday. Walks are free with refuge admission, are offered daily and leave the visitor center at 8:30 am.
