Hiked a portion of the Lone Star Hiking Trail this weekend and saw the
following birds in the Sam Houston National Forest:

Red-bellied Woodpecker
Red-cockaded Woodpecker
Northern Flicker
Pileated Woodpecker
Eastern Phoebe
White-eyed Vireo
Blue Jay
American Crow
Carolina Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse
White-breasted Nuthatch
Carolina Wren
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
