In the tiny weedlot at Rice University (entrance 18, corner of Rice Blvd
and Wilton; or NW corner of O'Connor field), just after the front passed, a
few birds dropped in
~15 indigo buntings (immature males and females)
1 blue grosbeak (immature male)
1 clay-colored sparrow (we seem to consistently get cc sp in October)
1 savannah sparrow
1 common yellowthroat
1 yellow-rumped warbler
1 wilson's warbler
1 nashville warbler
1 marsh wren (clearly a migrant as there's no good habitat here; but Oct is
the month for M wren at Rice)
1 house wren
3 blue-gray gnatcatchers
6 dickcissels
2 ruby-throated hummingbirds
3 unidentified warblers flying overhead

didn't have time to bird much, so could have missed a lot
