Sunday morning around 10:45 AM a Swallow-tailed Kite flew over the tram
road just past the second bridge, heading east. This morning (July 4)
around 10:45 AM Dick was taking pictures of a large Bullsnake dining from a
nest near the parking lot and happened to look up as a Swallow-tailed Kite
flew overhead, this time headed north. We couldn't determine what the
snake ate - every bird in the neighborhood was protesting vigorously and a
tree rat fled the area.
