Greetings All:
I will be 'leading' a Texas Century Club field trip for TOS through Edwards
County on 5/8/16. I built my county list during repeated visits along main
roads and have very few ideas, at this point, as regards hotspots to visit
touring the field trip.
I would love to hear from folk who have birded publicly accessible hotspots
in the county so that I can put together a solid 6+ hour itinerary.
As always, success will require finding publicly viewable water and, from
what I can tell, there is very little surface water available in the
county. Therefore, I am particularly interested in hearing about good
creek or river crossings, tanks, even water treatment facilities that might
kick out any kind of waterbird.
