Hi, all!
The most exciting critters on this blustery morning were actually
butterflies, with an Erato Heliconian showing up at the Pumphouse! Quinta
had the usual Valley birds, the most interesting observation being a female
Hooded Oriole who was very upset that I was near her "baby" - which happened
to be a Brown-headed Cowbird! :-D Had two pairs of Green Parakeets fly
over, and the Monks are of course hanging around Gardenia in Hidalgo. I
actually had a new bird for my Quinta list: Yellow-billed Cuckoo! Also had
some very cuddly Chachalacas there.
