A pleasant morning at Quinta Mazatlan - not too hot or windy. *Tropical
Kingbirds* called from their usual hangout, on the golf course adjacent to
Ruby Pond. *Clay-colored Thrush* juveniles and adults forage in the denser
parts of the park, and we heard a couple *Red-crowned Parrots
*fly over as well.

For those who also are into butterflies, a few S Texas specialties were
around:

White Angled-Sulphur
Red-bordered Metalmark
Gray Cracker

A very active day for birds and butterflies over here today. Bird walks are
every Saturday at 8:30.
