On July 21 this year, Kevin Smith reported seeing a roost ring " near Beech
Grove in east Tx (on 190 between Woodville and Jasper: 30.85 -94.18)". Has
anyone checked this one out to see if there is actually a roost that can be
seen from any of the roads in the area? When I put the GPS coordinates into
my map, it shows on 190 just west of Martin Dies Jr. State Park which is in
the lake. I wonder if they could be congregating under the bridge over the
lake?
If anyone has checked it out, I would appreciate a report of where the best
viewing spot would be.
