Early AM was pretty good but too many people in town for Easter Weekend on lawnmowers and golf carts to make birding enjoyable after ~10 plus the S. wind picked wiping the slate clean. Migrants this morning we fair but not great with most of the expected birds. Black-throated Greens, Hoodeds, Black-and-whites as well a Blue-headed Vireos made up the bulk but had 8 species of warblers. Bronzed Cowbirds which were completely lacking in early March are back and House Wrens are singing all over. The only bird of greater interest to me was a single Bell's Vireo...They are hard to get here-- Brush Freeman 361-655-7641 Cell http://texasnaturenotes.blogspot.com/ Finca Alacranes., Utley,Texas Edit your Freelists account settings for TEXBIRDS at //www.freelists.org/list/texbirds Reposting of traffic from TEXBIRDS is prohibited without seeking permission from the List Owner
