[texbirds] Port Aransas Birding Center & Paradise Pond

Howdy,
Yesterday, Nov 29, I birded the Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center at
mid-morning and Paradise Pond at around noon in Port Aransas. Highlights at the
birding center included a Yellow Warbler between the parking lot and the
boardwalk, and a Peregrine Falcon perched on one of the power line posts to the
north.
Paradise Pond hosted a male Ladder-backed Woodpecker who had dug a cavity in a
dead willow tree branch visible from the parking area, a male Downy Woodpecker,
and a few Gray Catbirds.
Wilson's Warbler was reported by others at both locations but I did not observe
one. Here are my lists:
