Happy to report that the Pomarine Jaeger is still present at Galveston East
Beach on Saturday morning 8/13. It was resting on the beach with a large
group of terns (mostly royal). It stayed in the same spot the whole time I
was there. I only saw it stand up and stretch its wings once.
