The welcome cool front passed through Corpus Christi overnight,
bringing in some good numbers of migrants. Pollywog Ponds
was lively, although diversity wasn't great;
Noteworthy were good numbers of empids, including 12 vocalizing
Least Flycatchers, 8 calling Willow Flycatchers, 20 +- empid,sp/
"Traill's" sp, 1 Yellow-bellied  Flycatcher (doing the "pur-wee" call),
102 Yellow-breasted Chats, 12 Mourning Warblers, 10 Wilson's
Warblers, 7 Yellow Warblers, 1 American Redstart, 1 Canada
Warbler.

Rose Hill Cemetery and Blucher Park both had several Chuck-will's-
widows, one of which was in the talons of an adult male Cooper's
Hawk.
