Hey there,
Last Thursday 7/28/16 I was driving through Palo Pinto County and stopped on
Devils Hollow Rd nw of Mineral Wells on 337. This road loops back south along
the Brazos. Had a female Black-capped Vireo come into my screech owl whistle
along with Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Carolina Chickadees, Painted Buntings, a
Summer Tanager, and a young White-eyed Vireo.
Also saw the female Brown Booby perched on the dam building at Benbrook Lake on
the way out.
Wasnt ever expecting to see those two birds on the same day.
