Led a Beginners bird hike at Government Canyon State Natural Area (Helotes/ San
Antonio TX) We were looking for Painted Buntings and they were everywhere. I
counted at least 25 and many posed and sang for pics to be taken. Also saw a
Scarlet Tanager.
