That should read David O'Dell and not Ken Thompson regarding the putative
Pacific Wren recording. Ken Thompson did see the Prothonotary Warbler today

Texbirds,On Monday, 5 December, Ken Thompson obtained a recording of a PACIFIC
WREN on the San Angelo Nature Trail below Twin Buttes Reservoir in San Angelo.
The spectrogram shows a noisier, higher pitched call note that is loudest
around 6-7 kHz (classic Pacific Wren signature). At least one Winter Wren has
also been noted at this location since mid-to late November. There is also a
blazing yellow (adult?!) male Prothonotary Warbler at this same location that
was found by Christopher Daniels on 4 December and continuing today, 7
December. https://ebird.org/tx/checklist/S123524775Good birding,Justin ;
