I saw my FOF Northern Harrier (adult female) this AM while driving along Dixie
Farm Road near the intersection with Highway 35 S. She was crossing D.F. Rd.
headed north. In addition, I have been seeing an immature female Cooper's Hawk
in my neighborhood. I have not seen her in company with the resident adult
female Cooper's, but I guess that she could be her progeny; if so, she is every
bit as big as her Momma.

While driving along Magnolia St. near the elementary school two days ago, I saw
a beautiful adult female (based on her size) Red-tailed Hawk take off from one
of the trees and fly parallel to the street. She was a gorgeous example of the
Eastern Red-tailed Hawk, except for her dark, maroon tail!?!
