Well, I may change my trike riding time to later in the AM. I overslept this AM and did not get outside on my trike until 7:30. As a result, I heard and saw a flock of Am. Pipits (about 30 of them), and heard and saw a small flock (about 8) of E. Bluebirds, then I heard at least one Am. Robin, but did not see it. I continue to hear GH Owls calling early in the AM (from about 5 AM to around 5:30 AM). I do wish that they would live up to their reputation and eat a few of the many skunks that have been hanging around (and under) my house! So far we have caught 7 skunks over the past 3 weeks in live traps in my yard. Of course, when the City of Pearland comes to pick up their traps, the skunks are euthanized before they leave in the trucks. I hate that they have to do this, but it is their way of controlling rabies within the city limits, or so they say. Mira M.
