I'm new to TEXBIRDS but not new to visiting & birding in south Texas. I just
wanted to share that we watched a Northern Gannet yesterday evening, April 1,
feeding in the ship channel at Port Aransas. It was around the area where the
jetty begins & it was about 7pm. We watched it for about 30 minutes & it was
close enough for photos. What a treat! I have posted a few photos on eBird.
