We had a new yard bird on Hummingbird street yesterday. A very cute Wilson's Warbler. He played around in the azalea's, flying into the grass to get a bug every now and then. Finally took a big bath in the water feature. We were in and out grilling ribs and he didn't seem to mind. Also saw a hummingbird up in the Bottle Brush but could not tell what it was....so put out a new feeder and hope to see it again soon. Also had 25+ American Goldfinches on the feeders in the front yard. They were joined by Cedar Waxwings and Yellow-rumped Warblers up in the Sycamores eating the balls which are coming apart and snowing on everything. Also making me sneezy and miserable. We took a bike ride down Braes Bayou yesterday and saw 2 Great Blue Herons, 1 Osprey (he's back!), 1 Ruby Crowned Kinglet, and 2 Yellow-rumped Warblers. What a great three day weekend for being outside!
