Cinco de Mayo seems to be as good a day as any to pack it in. I will
continue to describe notable phenomena seen on NEXRAD radar as they occur,
but not the day-in, day-out reports that have been posted since late March.

The upper winds are back up today, with ~28 kt. S at the Texas stations
and lower in Louisiana (13 and 6 at Lake Charles and New Orleans).
Incoming targets were little differentiated from wind speeds at Texas so it
is uncertain what percentage of the observed returned were in fact birds.
Elsewhere no trans-Gulf migrants were observed.
