Hi Texbirders,
I had been in The Valley for the past week helping at the exceptional Rio
Grande Valley Birding Festival and had to take a bird walk this morning to
check on the nuthatches....At least 4 are still here as well as a great
list of birds. I even got a new-for-location bird - Pied-billed Grebe. All
the birds seemed really responsive to owl calls/pishing this chilly
morning. See list below.

Kininglets, FOS Winter Wren, New for Location Pied-billed Grebe, big
movement of robins and RCK's. Walked part of newer trails at W. RiverPark
as well.
