This past weekend went Mason County for my uncle and aunt's 50 wedding
anniversary. On Sunday morning I managed to get in a couple hours of birding
on their ranch which is about 1 mile East of Art on Hwy 29. Best birds were
6 male yellow-headed blackbirds at barns and stock pens. Other than that it
was the usual stuff for the area. Still a fair number of white-crowned
sparrows along with some Lincoln's, a few Savannah's and one vesper hanging
around there. Pretty much dipped on Spring migrants. Totaled 31 species in
all.

You know your getting old when you attend a 50th wedding anniversary party
and remember going to the wedding (Though not as old as if it's your own
50th aniversary).
