Greetings All:
I was able to get on the Forster's Tern at McAlister Park at about
4:30 or so - I saw nothing to suggest that it was not a Forster's
Tern. I also had 2 Baird's Sandpipers, 1 Pectoral Sandpiper, and 1
Spotted Sandpiper ... along with the usual assortment of waders. The
Pectoral Sandpiper and Forster's Tern were FOS for me in the area.
I could not relocate the Eastern Kingbird at Clapp Park but I did get
on 1 Northern Waterthrush, 1MacGillivray's Warbler, 1 Yellow Warbler,
3 Wilson's Warblers, and 1 male Black-headed Grosbeak and enjoyed the
antics of the Yellow-crowned Night Herons at their nest.
All of this was pretty good, I thought, given the threatening weather.
