I was surfing at Matagorda Beach this past Wednesday, sitting about 150 yrds
offshore and watched tons of scaups flying by a few hundred yards outside of
where we were surfing. Some fairly large groups passing by heading north.
Things are definitely on the move!

Amazing numbers of Lesser Scaup flying north right now off of Rollover Pass
in Galveston county. Many thousands have passed by me since I've been here
and the flight is not letting up! Easily 10's of 1000's of birds moving.
