Had one Caspian/Royal as a drive by flyover north of Witting this
afternoon. By the time I could find a place to pull over it was way gone.
Had 19 Wood Storks over the Powderhorn Refuge/Ranch and a bit further up
on 1289, in Calhoun Co., a White-tailed Hawk with a "water" snake that was
so large the bird was having a hard time getting airborne with it.
Totally expected a full rain gauge at Utley but only had 7/8" since
Monday...Curious.
