Made a quick run to Wichita Falls from San Antonio to look for both Sabine's Gull and Red-necked Phalarope. Was fortunate to get great looks at both birds on 9/21/12. Arrived south end of Lake Wichita Park at about 7:45 because of previous post by Mike Pease giving that as best location. Saw the Gull first about 8:15, but he flew to the other side of the lake quickly. About an hour later he returned to the south end and this time stayed around. Saw the Phalaropes at the same end at about 10 AM. Have attached shots. Harry Forbes (San Antonio and Port Alto)
