Best bird of the day just sailed by: I watched an adult Zone-tailed Hawk soar
SE across the lake from the State Park. I'm in the Comanche Trails tent
camping area; the bird passed by a bit N of me, probably heading out over the
lake at the park's easternmost point. I watch it in my scope as it finally
disappeared below oak woods SE of me across the lake about a mile away.
I'd been watching for the species all day in Mills County; this Brown County
bird almost caught me napping!
