Please start sending your posts to texbirds@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Michael,Despite all the fine replies posted thus far (?), I'd suggest your bird is a Tennessee Warbler (bright green back, unmarked wings and tail, yellowish underparts, very sharp bill) that had either been eating mulberries or had a collision with same. If I had mulberry juice matted my hair, I'd want to take a bath as well.
