Well...another slow day, beautiful weather though. Bethany Foshee and I gave Lafitte's our best effort this afternoon but good birds were hard to come by. Best birds of the day were a male Blackpoll Warbler that let many observers get at least brief looks and a likely Cerulean late in the day. Also Warbling and Blue-headed Vireo in the mix but only a few warbler species for the day. Plenty of Gnatcatchers around. As a side note, about 20 minutes at Edith L. Moore Sanctuary this morning produced, Worm-eating, Nashville, Hooded and Pine Warblers along with Warbling Vireo and Great Crested Flycatcher.
