Summer is upon us, but don't put away your birding gear just yet! Join us at
Kleb Woods this Wednesday for a bird walk and then a presentation on birding
the Katy Prairie in summer.
This Wednesday, May 24, we will have our regular weekly bird walk from 8:30 AM
until 11:30 AM. After a break for lunch, we will have a class on birding the
Katy Prairie in Summer from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. This is the last class in a
4-part series presented by Fred Collins. Incorporating both park and roadside
birding is necessary to fully appreciate this unique habitat, and it can be
difficult to navigate at first. There is a surprising variety of birds you can
see on the prairie in summer. Learn what birds to look for and where to find
them.
We hope to see you all there,
