I have never seen birds, other than raptors, conduct aerial combat but today I watched a male and female Kingfisher crisscrossing the sky face to face - feet to feet. This lasted for several minutes before they separated and went their own way.
The other highlight was a feral hog, which sauntered across the road. How do these guys manage the barbed-wire fences?
