In spite of the time, this report from Dennis was earlier this morning. A group
currently believe the bird in a field across a berm out of site but in front of
them. They are waiting for an act of God to put it up into their view.

Subject: [texbirds] Jabiru seen this morning by many
Howdy Texbirders,
Fortunately, for those present, the bird was flushed up by a tractor.
Unfortunately, for those not present but wanting the bird, the bird was flushed
up by a tractor. It, and the many Wood Storks with which it was feeding,
continued upward and caught a thermal circled the area and siad Jabiru
eventually headed north alone toward the IH 10 area. Hopefully, the bird
will return to its favored feeding area along Pear Orchard Road.
So one might try Pear Orchard Road and FM 1985 later today.
Dennis
