I have been reading here on Texbirds that the hummingbirds are clearing out of some locations and heading south. Some of them must have come here on their way south. Thus morning it was cloudy here so it was fairly dark. About 7:15, I looked out at two of my feeders and saw the largest concentration of hummers around one feeder that I have ever seen here before. This feeder has 8 Ports and there were at least two birds per port with about that many more fighting got position. I estimate there were at least 30 birds at that one feeder. I have for feeders out and there were lesser amounts at the other feeders. I tried to get some pictures, but it was too dark. I went out and refilled the feeder about 8:30 and it was none dry.
