This weekend we had 3 new yard birds on Hummingbird street. An American Redstart was in the magnolia over one of the bird baths. In the bottle brush we had a Baltimore Oriole and a female Summer Tanager that was trying to get the bees and wasps. The bottle brushes were very popular all weekend - 6 to 8 Tennessee Warblers, 3 Orchard Orioles, 1 Catbird and a Ruby Throated Hummingbird. The Carolina Wrens have 3 babies in the Star Jasmine on the fence. The Inca Dove is sitting on her second set of eggs under the patio cover. Cedar Waxwings are still flying over. Also Cardinals, Carolina Chickadee, Downy Woodpecker, White wing dove, Mourning Dove, Robins, and the usual House Sparrows. Beautiful weekend!!
