Just a note that the continuing Golden-crowned Warbler at the Frontera Audubon Center in Weslaco was very co-operative this afternoon: Paul Gloyer and I had several goodish views of it in the vicinity of the little pool in the NE corner of the thicket over some ten minutes around 4:20pm. It stayed low in the vegetation, calling fairly constantly. Other birds at the Center included Gray Hawk, Green Kingfisher, Clay-colored Thrush and Orange-crowned, Nashville, Black-throated Green, Black-and-white & Wilson's Warblers.
