Has anyone been to Hornsby Bend today (05/10/16), searched for the Ruff
seen there yesterday and the day before, but failed to find it? I have been
looking for positive reports but have not found them thus far today. Have I
missed something? Has anyone reported that Ruff today?
Good quality reports of not having found a bird are of great importance in
the case of a rare bird that may attract many people from far and wide. In
making a negative report, please keep in mind that it is useful to convey
something of how one searched, time spent, and any other information that
may be of relevance to well-informed decision-making by those pondering a
search for the bird.
I am sure there are plenty of other folks up there and elsewhere eager to
have clear, decision-relevant information. Even if you did not find the
bird, you still may have something very important to say. Thanks very much!
