Interesting....So you DO think the kites come off the gulf on the
UTC?? Port O'Connor may be the worst place on the coast for any hawk
watching....Surrounded by water, Matagorda Bay on the east, The gulf to the
south and San Antonio Bay to the west, there just is no hawk migration...A
Miss Kite here is a very rare bird as is a Broad-winged Hawk...Just too
much water for the hawks to cross I figure. It is only 6:40 and the
swallow people are already streaming thru.
