Earlier today, Sheridan Coffey reported that a Green Violetear was seen
from the new bird blind at Inks Lake State Park. The bird was first seen
coming to a feeder at ~11am, and returned every 15 minutes or so
thereafter. I arrived at the blind at ~5.20pm, and enjoyed good views over
the next few hours.
If you go looking for the bird, check in at park headquarters to get the
gate code you'll need to access the blind.
